| Salient features |
- A unique combination of two powerful antimicrobials effective against anaerobic and aerobic micro-organisms and protozoa.
- Furazolidone is not absorbed after oral administration, thus its use to topical application, to the treatment of intestinal infections and to the treatment of urinogenital tract infections.
- Metronidazole is active against anaerobic bacteria. It is also effective against protozoa, such as Trichomonas foetus and Giardia.

| Diardon is indicated for the treatment of mixed infection caused by aerobic and anaerobic bacteria and protozoa in the alimentary and genital tract namely bacterial enteritis, dysentery, bovine coccidiosis. |
