It is effective against immature and mature worms. It is safe in young, old and debilitated animals and poultry.   Indications Major gastrointestinal nematodes of ruminants. Whip worms of ruminants, pig, dog and cat. Lung worms of horse, ruminants, pig, dog and cat. Bladder worms of dog and cat. Ostertagia larvae in ruminants. Tape worms in dog, cat and ruminants. Flukes in ruminants, dog, cat and horses.   Dosage Powder Powder : Albendazole I.P. 5 % w /w Cattle Horse, Camel & pig Sheep & Goat Dog & Cat 15 gm per 100 kg b.w. 10 gm per 100 kg b.w. 2 gm per 20 kg b.w. 6 gm per 10 kg b.w.   Suspension : Albendazole I.P. 2.5 % w / v Horse, Camel & pig Cattle Sheep & Goat Dog and Cat 6 ml per 30 kg b.w. 30 ml per100 kg b.w. 6 ml per 30 kg b.w. 1 ml per 2.5 kg b.w   Bolus : Albendazole IP 1.5 gm & 3 gm Horse, Camel & pig Cattle 5 mg per kg b.w. 7.5 mg.per kg b.w   Contraindication / precautions Not recommended in cattle, sheep during the first 45 days of pregnancy.
