Chlorpheniramine maleate I.P. 10 mg.
 
Salient features
  • Chlorpheniramine is one of the most commonly-used antihistamines.
  • Chlorpheniramine is the first choice in allergic disorders.
  • Chlorpheniramine’s sedative effects are relatively weak compared to other first-generation antihistamines.
 
Indications
  • Allergic disorders like urticaria, dermatitis, rhinitis, mastitis, burns, drug reactions, allergic conjunctivitis, anaphylactic shiock, insect bites, stomatitis and ruminal atony in cattle.

Large animals 15-20 ml IM
Small animal 2-3 ml IM
