Description
Albendazole, marketed as ALZOL VET, is a member of the benzimidazole compounds used as a drug indicated for the treatment of a variety of worm infestations.
Indications:
- Major gastrointestinal nematodes of ruminants.
- Whip worms of ruminants, pig, dog and cat.
- Lung worms of horse, ruminants, pig, dog and cat.
- Bladder worms of dog and cat.
- Ostertagia larvae in ruminants.
- Tape worms in dog, cat and ruminants.
- Flukes in ruminants, dog, cat and horses.
Administration: Orally

Powder :
- Cattle : 15 gm per 100 KG Body Weight
- Horse,Camel & pig : 10 gm per 100 KG Body Weight
- Sheep & Goat : 2 gm per 20 KG Body Weight
- Dog & Cat : 2 gm per 10 KG Body Weight
Suspension:
- Horse,Camel & pig : 6 mL per 30 KG Body Weight
- Cattle : 30 mL per 100 KG Body Weight
- Sheep & Goat : 6 mL per 30 KG Body Weight
- Dog and Cat : 1 mL per 2.5 KG Body Weight
