Simethicone for oral use B.P. 1 % W / V
Simethicone is an oral anti-foaming agent used to reduce bloating, discomfort and pain caused by excess gas in the stomach or intestinal tract.
Indications
Acute tympany, Frothy bloat & impaction
Administration & Dosage
- Cattle & Buffalo: 100 ml twice daily by drenching or with the help of stomach tube.
- Intraruminal: 100 ml of tympex at a time by using cannula or a long needle to be administered in the rumen through the left Para lumbar fossa.
- Sheep & Goat: 20 ml twice daily by drenching or with the help of stomach tube.
- Intraruminal: 20 ml of tympex at a time by using cannula or a long needle to be administered in the rumen through the left para lumbar fossa
- Camel: 200 ml twice daily by drenching
