Cefoperazone sodium Intramammary suspension IP 10 mL
Each 10 mL disposable pre-filled syringe contains Cefoperazone Sodium I.P. (sterile) eqv. to Cefoperazone 250 mg
Indications:
Cephatin intra-mammary suspension is indicated for the treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating cattle and buffaloes.
Dosage & Administration:
Cephatin intramammary suspension is indicated as the single-dose treatment for clinical mastitis in bovines.
The contents of one 10 ml syringe should be infused into the infected quarter immediately after complete milking. Before infusion the teat should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with the teat wipe. The teat and udder should be massaged for better product dispersion.

Cephatin Intramammary suspension is available as a 10 ml pre-filled syringe.
Guidelines for Administering Cephatin intramammary suspension
- Wash the udder properly with water and clean using a dry cloth.
- Remove the milk completely from the udder
- Disinfect the teat using the teat wipe
- Gently infuse the Cephatin intra-mammary suspension into the teat
- After intra-mammary administration massage the udder gently to ensure uniform distribution.
