An organically combined phosphorus (aromatic phosphorus) preparation for the support of metabolic activity in animals
Composition: Contains Toldimfos sodium 200 mg per mL
Indications:
- Haemoglobinuria, Pre or post-parturient.
- Milk Fever.
- Vaginal and Uterine prolapse.
- Muscular weaknesses, tetany and paralysis.
- Nutritional infertility, depressed & irregular anestrus and repeat breeding.
- Pica and Anorexia.
- To improve and maintain milk production.
- Tonic in General metabolic disorder viz. debility, convalescence, stress, exhaustion etc.
- Atonic uterus & leaky teats.
- Useful after difficult parturition.
- Disorders of bones in Rickets & Osteomalasia.
Administration: IM, IV & SC
Special precautions for use in animals. Observe aseptic precautions during administration throughout the course of therapy.
Dosage:
- In Acute Conditions: Toldimfos 10 mg / kg body weight Or Inj. Tonolon 1mL / 20 kg body weight in severe cases where rapid absorption is required the dosage may be given as half by intravenous injection and half by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection. Multiple injection sites may be used. Dosage to be repeated to clinical effect.
- In Chronic Conditions: Inj. Tonolon 1mL / 40 kg body weight, on alternative day for 5-10 injections.
